My 2 legged pride and joys!!!
My 3 Grandsons - Devon 8, Cooper 11 and Reed 7 . They are brothers as you can see and typical boys!! They all play hockey, love to do outside things - ski, bike, 4-wheeler.
If you take your 4-legged to places where there is standing water in puddles you should ask your vet about a Lepto shot. It doesn't cover all the strains and doesn't last long. Since Lia got Lepto I give them shots in the early Spring and again in the early Fall so they are well covered for the puddle seasons.
Jaz is enjoying her visits to the seniors home. Unfortunately they encourage her to "kiss" and I'm trying to stop her!!!! The seniors love having the dogs visit.
Lia and Jaz have an agility trial next weekend. Hopefully they aren't too rusty!
I am still looking for new pics , so if you have a Brackenridge dog please look out some recent pics and e-mail them to me. Any shots are welcome.
I have a new 2-legged Pride and Joy!! Carter was born at 4.07 am on May 24. His cousins Cooper, Devon and Reed were very excited to see him. He joins his "sister" Oakley at home. Oakley gets quite concerned if he cries and goes and sits by him!
My next litter of puppies won't be until late in the year or beginning of next year. My waiting list is filling up so if you are thinking of getting a Golden plan ahead and get on a breeder's waiting list.

ATCh Brackenridge's I'm Bracken Too CDX,WCI,JH AGX,JWX,Ottawa Therapy Dog.
It is with great sadness that I had to let Bracken go over the Rainbow Bridge this morning. She was 14 yrs and 4 months old. She had been very active running in the fields, swimming and retrieving bumpers until 3 days ago when she slowed down.
Bracken was one of the 13 born to Aspen. She is survived by her sister Sprockette who is doing well.
Bracken had a great life full of many activities. She earned a HIT and Dog World award in obedience. She loved field and retrieving. I think her 2nd favorite activity was agility. She made her own courses at the beginning but as she matured she was fast and loved working. Her most favourite thing was her Therapy Dog work. She started when she was 4, visiting seniors and took over CHEO from her mother Aspen 6 years ago and just loved the children. She would do her tricks and "sing" to them if they petted the right spot. She would get up onto beds, chairs or whatever so the children could cuddle her.
Bracken was also a R.E.A.D. dog and filled in for Lia when she couldn't go.
I know she will be greatly missed by all the children but especially me. She is with her mother and siblings having a good time.
